Summer Short Courses

Ring with stone and sterling silver granulation 2 Day Course Saturday and Sunday 27th and 28th July 10 am till 4 pm Learn to make an adjustable ring in silver with granulation and a stone. This course covers, cutting, soldering, texturing, making a collet and setting a stone. The class is ideal for beginners to intermediate learners. Summer Short Courses

Stack rings Day Course Day course Saturday 20th July 10 am till 4 pm Learn to make a simple square section ring. You will learn to cut, solder and form metal. You will then go on to learn how to complete three different finishes highly polished, oxidised black and a matt white. This course is ideal for beginners and for people with some experience of metal working techniques. Cost £45.00 this does not include silver Please contact me directly to book a place. New Term starts next week

Classes for the new term start next week and there are still places available! There is only one space left on the Tuesday morning class. However, spaces are still available in the other two classes. The Tuesday morning class will be taking a trip to V and A. In Tuesday evenings class we will be looking at some basic enamelling techniques among other things. On Thursday mornings we will be looking a some basic silver working techniques If you are interested in taking one of these classes please don't hesitate to contact me. Work from last term

Last term Tuesday morning and evening class made channel settings. The settings were then used for a variety of jewellery pieces including pendants, toggle clasps, rings and bracelets. Here are a few examples of the completed pieces. Some students also made rings with granulation as surface decoration
