Oxfordshire Artweeks 2015

Students & friends of Kingham Jewellery School have come together to create a collection of work for Artweeks. A varied selection of jewellery, glass, ceramics, printmaking and painting. We are very excited to be showing at The Ballroom, Asthall Manor.

Artist include

Kate Hopkins Searle - Ceramics. Kate is an English Ceramic Artist and creator of GlacĂ©  Slippers. To be admired but never worn, GlacĂ©  Slippers are elegantly sculpted and highly decorated works of art.

Liz  Hogarty - Painting. Liz's work speaks of the countryside, of natural forms and places. Most of my work is created in my studio, where I can explore my own feelings and interpretations of a subject without the literal references.

Helen Slater - Glass.  Helen's artwork draws inspiration from the figurative and its perception within changing environments. By using a mixture of techniques similar to those used in bronze casting and some specially developed by Helen herself, through years of research, she is able to produce stunning one off Art pieces.

Catriona Brodribb - Print maker. The  ideas for Catriona's work are derived from things such as text, industrial landscapes, archaeology and still life.

Laura Middleton - Painting. Laura creates paintings that bring the magic of the world into your home.  She is inspired by different weather and the changing seasons and how seemingly chaotic or ordinary hedgerows, verges and fields contain wonderful movement, depth and structure within them.

Louise Searby - Ceramics.  Practical yet beautiful tableware enhanced by a fresh colour palette.

Nerissa Parker - Jeweller. Nerissa's work is inspired by the drawings and designs of the Arts and Crafts movement. She uses traditional and contemporary  techniques to create work that is reminiscent of this era with a modern twist.

  2. By referring to a substantial number of resources, a significant student utilizes their common sense and judgment skills to pick the best material and utilize it like a benefit to fill out the undertaking. Though many students are already mindful of what they would like to work upon and what their project should depend on, they appear to struggle in regards to selecting the specific topic by means mastergrades.com.
